How To: Deliver a Baby Using YouTube Video

3 May 2009 1,311 views No Comment

A shocking use of the very famous resource on the web, YouTube, which allows users from all over the world to upload videos and content which would either be personal or the very famous “tutorial – videos”. One such tutorial video helped some individual in a completely obscure way. Marc Stephens helped his wife when she went into labour three weeks prior to her due date. The naval engineer, who already has three children with this wife Jo, decided to search the internet as she felt some discomfort. Four hours later, when the couple were told by the hospital staff that no midwife was available as Jo went into sudden labour, he used his new-found  knowledge to save the day.

Stephen, who had learnt how to play the guitar and solve the Rubik’s cube, by watching YouTube videos, decided to check out the video sharing website’s child birth tips. Amongst the videos, he viewed the video entitled “How to Deliver a Baby in a Taxi Cab”. He refered to that video and found himself delivering his wife’s child. Jo, after giving birth to her child, claimed that it was her most relaxed labour. She said, “I was quite relaxed. I wasn’t panicking at all. I have to say out all my four labours, that was the one I enjoyed the most. It’s the most relaxed one.”
