16 September 2009 376 views No Comment

HTC Hero, is one of it’s kind! This badboy which runs on Google’s Android operating system, has quite a punch packed into itself. It sports a 528 Mhz Qualcomm CPU, 288 MBs of RAM and a clean 512 MBs of ROM. This phone comes fitted with a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen which is capable of giving the user a brilliant 320×480 pixel resolution. The user interface can quite easily give Apple’s iPhone’s user interface a run for it’s money.

The interface also includes a special trackball and a dedicated search button, which allows you to search on the fly and is pretty neat with the results. Well, that was expected wasn’t it? After all, Google designed it! ;) The phone has plenty of the standard connectivity options, including 3G, Bluetooth 2.0, mini-USB and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The best part about this phone, is the behemoth of a camera. A 5 megapixel stunning camera, which churns out equally impressive colors in it’s images is somewhat of an icing on a beautiful cake. The phone comprises of a gravity sensor and also allows you to expand it’s memory using microSD cards. Priced at a steep, but yet intuitive price, the HTC Hero is available at $700 USD.
