Die-hard fans of Halo, stand up and take notice, because something awesome is headed your way! Microsoft announced the latest thing in the Halo series, the Halo Legends. It’s a brand new take on the game, but only this time, it’s in form of a new animated stories series, which should be released on DVD and other popular formats by the coming year.

This is a huge step for the Halo series, leading to a whole new segment of the game, in form of animated media. The Japanese are quite well known for their share in anime, but Halo might be the next big step in the business. Halo Legends is titled to be a subtle mix of Master Chief and the popular “Japanese Animation”. The series is created by the same designers who developed the other famous addictive series, such as the Appleseed, Full Metal Alchemist, Dragon Ball and Ghost in a Shell.

The Xbox 360 owners will get to view few of the sneak preview trailers via the Xbox Live network coming this fall, You’ll get the first hands on the video on TechMirage as well! I’ll try my level best to get the trailers ported from my Xbox to the computer. Well, I’ll leave you with this awesome trailer on the next best thing in Anime..

For TechMirage,
